How to uninstall Onyx from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Onyx is a program released by the software company Obsidian Control Systems. Sometimes, users try to remove this program. This is efortful because performing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK manner to remove Onyx is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Onyx or simply click the Search field and type in "Onyx". If it is installed on your PC the Onyx application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Onyx in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Onyx, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Onyx.

8. After removing Onyx, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Onyx that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Onyx using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
