A way to uninstall Pokki from your PC

If you are manually uninstalling Pokki we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Pokki

The files below remain on your disk by Pokki's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Pokki\analytics.db
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Pokki\Engine\avcodec-54.dll
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Pokki\Engine\avformat-54.dll
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Pokki\Engine\avutil-51.dll

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\shell\pokki
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\pokki
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\pokki
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile\shell\pokki

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Pokki\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Pokki\DisplayName
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Pokki\Publisher
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Pokki\UninstallString

A way to remove Pokki with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Pokki is an application offered by Pokki. Some people decide to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand requires some knowledge related to PCs. • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Pokki or simply click the Search feature and type in "Pokki". If it is installed on your PC the Pokki app will be found automatically. When you select Pokki in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Pokki, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Pokki:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.pokki.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\barbism\AppData\Local\Pokki\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Pokki.


8. After removing Pokki, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Pokki that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Pokki using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
