A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be uninstalled when you remove Private Internet Access from your PC.

A way to erase Private Internet Access with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Private Internet Access is an application by Private Internet Access, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to uninstall this program. • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Private Internet Access or simply click the Search feature and type in "Private Internet Access". If it exists on your system the Private Internet Access program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Private Internet Access in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Private Internet Access, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Private Internet Access:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Private Internet Access\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Private Internet Access.


8. After removing Private Internet Access, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Private Internet Access that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Private Internet Access with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
