How to uninstall Proton VPN from your PC

A way to uninstall Proton VPN from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Proton VPN is a program by the software company Proton AG. Some users decide to remove this program. This can be hard because doing this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK practice to remove Proton VPN is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Proton VPN or simply activate the Search field and type in "Proton VPN". If it is installed on your PC the Proton VPN program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Proton VPN in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Proton VPN, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Proton VPN.


8. After uninstalling Proton VPN, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Proton VPN that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Proton VPN with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
