Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Proton VPN_is1
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Proton AG\Proton VPN

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProtonVPN Service\ImagePath
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ProtonVPNCallout\ImagePath
