A way to remove Proton VPN using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Proton VPN is an application marketed by the software company Proton AG. Sometimes, users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Proton VPN or simply activate the Search field and type in "Proton VPN". If it is installed on your PC the Proton VPN app will be found automatically. When you select Proton VPN in the list of programs, some data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Proton VPN, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Proton VPN.


8. After removing Proton VPN, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Proton VPN which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Proton VPN using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
