How to uninstall QuickBooks from your system

A way to remove QuickBooks from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickBooks is a program marketed by Intuit Canada ULC. Frequently, computer users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this is hard because removing this manually requires some know-how related to PCs. The best SIMPLE action to remove QuickBooks is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find QuickBooks or simply activate the Search feature and type in "QuickBooks". If it exists on your system the QuickBooks app will be found automatically. When you select QuickBooks in the list , the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding QuickBooks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall QuickBooks.

8. After removing QuickBooks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong QuickBooks that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing QuickBooks with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
