How to uninstall QuickBooks from your system

Note that you might get a notification for administrator rights. QuickBooks_Replay_Setup.exe is the QuickBooks's main executable file and it takes close to 1.40 MB (1468973 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove QuickBooks from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickBooks is a program offered by the software company Intuit Canada ULC. Some computer users decide to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because deleting this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK approach to erase QuickBooks is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate QuickBooks or simply activate the Search field and type in "QuickBooks". If it is installed on your PC the QuickBooks application will be found automatically. After you click QuickBooks in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding QuickBooks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The publisher is: http://quickbooks.intuit.ca/
  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{A8FB867A-1595-43B2-8F8C-B6112C77CB8D}
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall QuickBooks.

8. After removing QuickBooks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong QuickBooks that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing QuickBooks with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
