A guide to uninstall QuickBooks from your computer

QuickBooks is a software application. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for admin rights. QBW32.EXE is the QuickBooks's primary executable file and it takes close to 1.12 MB (1178984 bytes) on disk.

How to erase QuickBooks with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickBooks is an application released by Intuit Inc.. Some people decide to remove it. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually requires some knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK manner to remove QuickBooks is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate QuickBooks or simply click the Search feature and type in "QuickBooks". If it is installed on your PC the QuickBooks application will be found very quickly. When you click QuickBooks in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about QuickBooks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{25E202D1-D8E7-46AF-B4B0-157D9993A93E}
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall QuickBooks.

8. After removing QuickBooks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of QuickBooks that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling QuickBooks with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
