How to uninstall QuickBooks from your PC

QuickBooks is a computer program. How to uninstall QuickBooks from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickBooks is a program released by Intuit Canada ULC. Sometimes, users want to uninstall this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK practice to uninstall QuickBooks is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find QuickBooks or simply click the Search field and type in "QuickBooks". If it is installed on your PC the QuickBooks program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click QuickBooks in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding QuickBooks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall QuickBooks.

8. After removing QuickBooks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong QuickBooks that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing QuickBooks with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
