How to uninstall QuickConnect from your computer
QuickConnect is a software application. This page is comprised of details on how to remove it from your computer. It is made by

http://www.Qwest.com. Usually the QuickConnect application is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Qwest\QuickConnect directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling QuickConnect is C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{4998FF95-709A-430A-B104-92A009ABB848}\setup.exe -runfromtemp -l0x0009 -removeonly. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for administrator rights. QuickConnect.exe is the QuickConnect's main executable file and it occupies approximately 597.38 KB (611720 bytes) on disk.
QuickConnect is composed of the following executables which take 1.44 MB (
1505944 bytes) on disk:
- detecthardware.exe (72.00 KB)
- QuickConnect.exe (597.38 KB)
- QuickConnectClientUpdater.exe (33.38 KB)
- QuickConnectLaunch.exe (767.88 KB)

Generally, the following files remain on disk:- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Desktop\QuickConnect.lnk
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\Qwest\QuickConnect.lnk
- C:\Program Files\Qwest\QuickConnect\AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll
- C:\Program Files\Qwest\QuickConnect\ConnectWait.ico
You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Qwest\QuickConnect
Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\C72362E186153B34EB1CE4A39A547C11\SourceList\LastUsedSource

How to uninstall QuickConnect with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
QuickConnect is a program released by the software company Qwest. Sometimes, users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand takes some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall QuickConnect is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

- download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.
3. Press the General Tools button
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate QuickConnect or simply click the Search feature and type in "QuickConnect". If it is installed on your PC the QuickConnect program will be found automatically. When you select QuickConnect in the list of programs, the following information about the application is available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about QuickConnect, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove QuickConnect.
8. After uninstalling QuickConnect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong QuickConnect which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing QuickConnect using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
