A way to erase Rufus from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rufus is a program offered by Akeo Consulting. Frequently, users decide to uninstall this application. Take the following steps on how to do this:

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Rufus or simply click the Search feature and type in "Rufus". If it exists on your system the Rufus application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Rufus in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Rufus, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Rufus:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rufus\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Rufus.


8. After removing Rufus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Rufus which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Rufus using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
