A way to uninstall Rufus from your PC

Rufus is a computer program. How to erase Rufus with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rufus is an application offered by the software company Akeo Consulting. Some people decide to erase this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because doing this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Rufus or simply click the Search feature and type in "Rufus". If it exists on your system the Rufus app will be found automatically. When you click Rufus in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Rufus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Rufus:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rufus\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Rufus.


8. After uninstalling Rufus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Rufus which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Rufus using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
