How to uninstall Rufus from your PC

How to delete Rufus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rufus is a program by RePack by Andreyonohov. Some people try to erase it. This can be easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY solution to erase Rufus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Rufus or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Rufus". If it is installed on your PC the Rufus app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Rufus in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Rufus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Rufus:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Rufus\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Rufus.


8. After uninstalling Rufus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Rufus which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Rufus using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
