A guide to uninstall Rufus from your PC

Rufus is a software application. Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

How to uninstall Rufus from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rufus is a program released by Akeo Consulting. Frequently, people decide to remove this program. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Rufus or simply click the Search feature and type in "Rufus". If it exists on your system the Rufus program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Rufus in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Rufus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Rufus:

• The publisher is: www.parandco.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rufus\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Rufus.


8. After uninstalling Rufus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Rufus that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Rufus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
