How to uninstall SHAREit from your PC

SHAREit is a computer program. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Lenovo. More info about Lenovo can be read here. The program is frequently installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\SHAREit folder (same installation drive as Windows). The entire uninstall command line for SHAREit is C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\SHAREit\uninstall.exe. SHAREit.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.36 MB (2476192 bytes) on disk.

SHAREit has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\Lenovo\SHAREit
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Lenovo\SHAREit

The files below are left behind on your disk by SHAREit's application uninstaller when you removed it:

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

A way to erase SHAREit from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SHAREit is an application marketed by Lenovo. Sometimes, people want to erase it. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SHAREit or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SHAREit". The SHAREit app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select SHAREit in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding SHAREit, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SHAREit.


8. After uninstalling SHAREit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SHAREit which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SHAREit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
