If you are manually uninstalling STM32CubeMX we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove STM32CubeMX:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\STM32CubeMX

A way to delete STM32CubeMX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

STM32CubeMX is a program marketed by the software company STMicroelectronics. Some computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase STM32CubeMX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find STM32CubeMX or simply activate the Search field and type in "STM32CubeMX". If it is installed on your PC the STM32CubeMX app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click STM32CubeMX in the list , the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding STM32CubeMX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall STM32CubeMX.


8. After removing STM32CubeMX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong STM32CubeMX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling STM32CubeMX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
