A way to uninstall Scrivener from your computer

Scrivener is a Windows application. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. Scrivener's main file takes around 20.90 MB (21913768 bytes) and is called Scrivener.exe.

After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove Scrivener:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to uninstall Scrivener using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Scrivener is a program by the software company Literature and Latte. Frequently, users choose to remove it. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Scrivener or simply click the Search field and type in "Scrivener". If it exists on your system the Scrivener application will be found automatically. After you click Scrivener in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Scrivener, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Scrivener:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Scrivener\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Scrivener.


8. After uninstalling Scrivener, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Scrivener that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
