How to uninstall Setup from your computer

Setup is a software application. Numerous files, folders and Windows registry data can not be removed when you want to remove Setup from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Setup:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon\IJ Setup Guide
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Lexware\Setup
• C:\Program Files (x86)\epson\escndv\setup
• C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{DE85B8F3-D088-4D6E-A970-EE0BC7883A66}\Setup

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon\IJPLM\setup.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon\IJPLM\setup.ini
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0\Resources\setup.swf
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\DataDesign\DDBAC\setup.bmp

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\setup.DynamicNS
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Setup.Kernel
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Setup.LogServices
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Setup.ScriptDriverWrapper

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CANONIJPLM100\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CANONIJPLM100\ModifyPath
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CANONIJPLM100\UninstallString
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\eventlog\Application\IJPLMSVC\CategoryMessageFile

A way to uninstall Setup from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
