A way to uninstall Setup from your computer

Setup is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by Corel Corporation. Open here for more info on Corel Corporation. Click on http://www.corel.com to get more information about Setup on Corel Corporation's website. The program is often found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X4 folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Setup by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{00D13418-7DDF-4D3D-A237-E297B103BB6B}. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Setup's primary file takes around 921.89 KB (944016 bytes) and is called Setup.exe.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bdb
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bks
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wdb
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wks

Additional values that are not removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bdb\ShellNew\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.bks\ShellNew\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wdb\ShellNew\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wks\ShellNew\

How to remove Setup from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Setup is an application released by Corel Corporation. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase this program. This can be efortful because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK manner to erase Setup is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Setup or simply activate the Search field and type in "Setup". The Setup application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Setup in the list , the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Setup, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Setup:

• The publisher is: http://www.corel.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{00D13418-7DDF-4D3D-A237-E297B103BB6B}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Setup.


8. After removing Setup, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Setup that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Setup with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
