A way to uninstall Shift from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Shift is an application by the software company Shift Technologies, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is difficult because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning.   • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Shift or simply click the Search feature and type in "Shift". If it is installed on your PC the Shift app will be found automatically. After you select Shift in the list of apps, some data about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Shift, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Shift.

8. After removing Shift, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Shift which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Shift using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
