How to uninstall SmartNote from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SmartNote is an application by Lenovo, Inc.. Frequently, computer users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE way to remove SmartNote is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SmartNote or simply click the Search feature and type in "SmartNote". If it is installed on your PC the SmartNote application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click SmartNote in the list , some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SmartNote, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SmartNote:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Lenovo\YB9App\SmartNote\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SmartNote.


8. After uninstalling SmartNote, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of SmartNote that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SmartNote using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
