A guide to uninstall SourceTree from your computer

A way to remove SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SourceTree is an application marketed by Atlassian. Frequently, users try to erase this program. This is hard because doing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. The best EASY action to erase SourceTree is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your computer.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SourceTree or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SourceTree". The SourceTree app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select SourceTree in the list , some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SourceTree, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SourceTree.

8. After uninstalling SourceTree, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SourceTree which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SourceTree using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
