Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you uninstall SourceTree.

Directories left on disk:

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove SourceTree:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\sourcetree
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Atlassian\SourceTree
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SourceTree 1.6.10

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{1EE6F843-C504-469B-991B-AF58235ED254}\InstallSource

All the items of SourceTree that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
