A guide to uninstall Spark from your computer

Some files, folders and registry data will not be removed when you remove Spark from your PC.

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\03UZ39EQ\br_spark-130321[1].gif
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\spark_install.exe

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Baidu\Spark

How to delete Spark with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spark is an application by Baidu, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. 3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Spark or simply activate the Search field and type in "Spark". If it exists on your system the Spark program will be found very quickly. After you select Spark in the list of programs, the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Spark, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Spark:

• The publisher is: http://br.browser.baidu.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\baidu\Spark\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Spark.


8. After uninstalling Spark, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Spark which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
