Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you remove SumatraPDF.

How to uninstall SumatraPDF from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SumatraPDF is an application by Krzysztof Kowalczyk. Sometimes, users try to uninstall this application. This is difficult because doing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall SumatraPDF is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SumatraPDF or simply activate the Search field and type in "SumatraPDF". If it is installed on your PC the SumatraPDF application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SumatraPDF in the list of programs, the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about SumatraPDF, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SumatraPDF:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SumatraPDF.


8. After uninstalling SumatraPDF, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SumatraPDF that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SumatraPDF with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
