How to uninstall Tribler from your PC

How to remove Tribler with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is a program offered by The Tribler Team. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. This can be efortful because doing this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK approach to erase Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Tribler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Tribler". If it is installed on your PC the Tribler app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Tribler in the list , some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tribler:

• The publisher is: https://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Tribler.


8. After removing Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Tribler that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
