A guide to uninstall Tribler from your computer

Tribler is a computer program. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. The Windows release was developed by The Tribler Team. You can read more on The Tribler Team or check for application updates here. Detailed information about Tribler can be seen at https://www.tribler.org. Usually the Tribler application is found in the C:\Program Files\Tribler folder, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling Tribler is C:\Program Files\Tribler\Uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. Tribler's primary file takes around 60.50 KB (61952 bytes) and is called Tribler.exe.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

How to uninstall Tribler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is a program marketed by The Tribler Team. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Tribler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Tribler". If it exists on your system the Tribler application will be found automatically. When you click Tribler in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Tribler:

• The web site of the program is: https://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Tribler.


8. After uninstalling Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Tribler that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Tribler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
