How to uninstall TweakPower from your PC

TweakPower is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. It is written by Kurt Zimmermann. You can find out more on Kurt Zimmermann or check for application updates here. Usually the TweakPower program is placed in the C:\Program Files\TweakPower folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall TweakPower by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\TweakPower\Uninstaller.exe /uninstall. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for admin rights. TweakPower.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 6.92 MB (7251896 bytes) on disk.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

A way to remove TweakPower with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

TweakPower is an application by Kurt Zimmermann. Frequently, computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is troublesome because performing this by hand requires some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY approach to uninstall TweakPower is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find TweakPower or simply click the Search feature and type in "TweakPower". If it exists on your system the TweakPower program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click TweakPower in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about TweakPower, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove TweakPower.

8. After uninstalling TweakPower, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong TweakPower that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing TweakPower using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
