Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you uninstall Ubisoft Connect.

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Ubisoft Connect:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\UbisoftConnect\Ubisoft Connect.lnk

Many times the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\UbisoftConnect.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\UbisoftConnect.exe.FriendlyAppName

How to remove Ubisoft Connect using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ubisoft Connect is an application offered by the software company Ubisoft. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK procedure to uninstall Ubisoft Connect is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Ubisoft Connect or simply click the Search field and type in "Ubisoft Connect". The Ubisoft Connect application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Ubisoft Connect in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Ubisoft Connect, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Ubisoft Connect.


8. After removing Ubisoft Connect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Ubisoft Connect that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Ubisoft Connect with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
