How to uninstall UltraVNC from your computer

If you are manually uninstalling UltraVNC we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files\uvnc bvba\UltraVNC
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\UltraVNC

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall UltraVNC:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\UltraVNC\-5900.vnc
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\UltraVNC\options.vnc

Many times the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Ultravnc2_is1
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\UltraVNC

Additional values that you should remove:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\uvnc bvba\UltraVNC\winvnc.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\uvnc bvba\UltraVNC\winvnc.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\uvnc_service\ImagePath

A way to remove UltraVNC from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about UltraVNC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
