When you're planning to uninstall Uplay you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Uplay from your computer:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

Files remaining:

Usually the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Uplay.exe

A way to uninstall Uplay from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Uplay or simply activate the Search field and type in "Uplay". The Uplay app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Uplay in the list of programs, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Uplay, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Uplay.


8. After removing Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Uplay which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Uplay with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
