How to uninstall Uplay from your PC

After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Uplay from your PC:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

A way to erase Uplay from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Uplay is an application offered by Ubisoft. Some computer users choose to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK practice to erase Uplay is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Uplay or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Uplay". If it is installed on your PC the Uplay app will be found automatically. When you select Uplay in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Uplay, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Uplay.


8. After uninstalling Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Uplay which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Uplay using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
