Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you uninstall Uplay.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\www\uplay-logo.png

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

A way to remove Uplay with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Uplay or simply activate the Search field and type in "Uplay". If it is installed on your PC the Uplay app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Uplay in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Uplay, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Uplay.


8. After uninstalling Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Uplay that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Uplay using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
