Some files, folders and registry entries will not be removed when you are trying to remove VAIO Care from your computer.
Folders found on disk after you uninstall VAIO Care from your computer:- C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Care Recovery
Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall VAIO Care:- C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Care Recovery\256.ico
- C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Care Recovery\CheckMediaRequirement.exe
- C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Care Recovery\CheckRecoveryPartition.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Sony Corporation\VAIO Care

A way to uninstall VAIO Care from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VAIO Care is a program released by Sony Corporation. Frequently, people decide to remove this application. The best SIMPLE manner to remove VAIO Care is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

- download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.
3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button
5. All the programs installed on the computer will appear
6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VAIO Care or simply activate the Search field and type in "VAIO Care". If it is installed on your PC the VAIO Care application will be found automatically. When you select VAIO Care in the list , some information about the application is available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about VAIO Care, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VAIO Care.
