A way to uninstall VDI from your system

This page contains detailed information on how to remove VDI for Windows. It is made by Delivered by Citrix. More data about Delivered by Citrix can be read here. VDI is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\SelfServicePlugin directory, but this location may vary a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the application. VDI's full uninstall command line is C:\Program. The program's main executable file is titled SelfService.exe and its approximative size is 4.58 MB (4797744 bytes).

VDI installs the following the executables on your PC, occupying about 5.12 MB (5369536 bytes) on disk.

  • CleanUp.exe (308.30 KB)
  • SelfService.exe (4.58 MB)
  • SelfServicePlugin.exe (131.80 KB)
  • SelfServiceUninstaller.exe (118.30 KB)

A way to uninstall VDI from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VDI is a program released by the software company Delivered by Citrix. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because performing this manually takes some experience related to PCs. One of the best EASY practice to uninstall VDI is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VDI or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VDI". If it exists on your system the VDI application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select VDI in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VDI, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove VDI.

8. After uninstalling VDI, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of VDI that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing VDI using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
