How to uninstall VMS from your PC

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall VMS for Windows. It was developed for Windows by General. Check out here where you can read more on General. Usually the VMS application is placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\VMS folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove VMS by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\VMS\uninstall.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. VMS.exe is the VMS's main executable file and it occupies approximately 6.64 MB (6960128 bytes) on disk.

How to erase VMS from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMS is an application offered by General. Frequently, users choose to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually.   • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VMS or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMS". The VMS application will be found automatically. When you click VMS in the list , some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VMS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMS.

8. After removing VMS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMS that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling VMS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
