VMware Player has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.
Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall VMware Player:- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\CrashDumps\VMware-player-6.0.7.exe.12980.dmp
- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\VMware Player.lnk
You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player

A way to uninstall VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VMware Player is a program offered by the software company VMware, Inc. Sometimes, computer users try to erase this application. 7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.
