Registry that is not uninstalled:

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

A way to uninstall VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application by VMware, Inc.. Frequently, users want to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK way to erase VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player application will be found automatically. After you select VMware Player in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
