VMware Player is a computer program. How to erase VMware Player from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application released by VMware, Inc. Sometimes, users want to uninstall it. This can be efortful because performing this by hand requires some experience related to PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VMware Player or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player application will be found automatically. After you select VMware Player in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for VMware Player:

• The software company is: http://www.vmware.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Documents and Settings\All UserNames.WINDOWS\Application Data\VMware\VMware Player\Uninstaller\uninstall.exe -x

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.


8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
