A way to erase VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Player is an application by VMware, Inc.. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to uninstall VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to take care of your computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply click the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click VMware Player in the list , the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.

8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
