A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry entries will not be uninstalled when you remove VMware Player from your computer.

How to delete VMware Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VMware Player is an application released by VMware, Inc.. Frequently, people try to remove this application. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY manner to remove VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

- download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.
3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear
6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player app will be found very quickly. After you select VMware Player in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove VMware Player.
8. After uninstalling VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
