VMware Player has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

How to delete VMware Player from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Player program will be found automatically. After you select VMware Player in the list , the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Player.


8. After removing VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of VMware Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
