When planning to uninstall VMware Player you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\78F80996FF538C847916B2E4702C67B3
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{69908F87-35FF-48C8-9761-2B4E07C2763B}
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware Player
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Player

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\78F80996FF538C847916B2E4702C67B3\ProductName

How to uninstall VMware Player from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
