You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Player

A way to delete VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
VMware Player is an application released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY procedure to remove VMware Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.
DOWNLOAD NOW- navigate to Download Link
- download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.
3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Player". If it exists on your system the VMware Player program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VMware Player in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding VMware Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VMware Player.
8. After uninstalling VMware Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Player which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
