VMware Tools is a Windows application. A way to uninstall VMware Tools from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VMware Tools or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". If it exists on your system the VMware Tools app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VMware Tools in the list , some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Tools.


8. After uninstalling VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
