Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you uninstall VMware Workstation.

Files remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VMware\workstation.log

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to erase VMware Workstation from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is an application by the software company VMware, Inc.. Frequently, people choose to uninstall this program. 5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find VMware Workstation or simply click the Search field and type in "VMware Workstation". The VMware Workstation program will be found very quickly. After you click VMware Workstation in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Workstation, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall VMware Workstation.


8. After removing VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup.
