How to uninstall VeraCrypt from your computer

VeraCrypt has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VeraCrypt:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\VeraCrypt

Generally the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\VeraCrypt Format.exe
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\VeraCrypt.exe
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VeraCrypt
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\VeraCrypt
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\veracrypt

Supplementary values that are not cleaned:

How to uninstall VeraCrypt from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VeraCrypt is a program by the software company IDRIX. Sometimes, people decide to uninstall it.
