Webex has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Webex

Files remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Webex\Webex.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.webex
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/webex
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cisco Systems, Inc.\Webex Teams
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\57E00BCCE43E2E35A8C63A011121B8A9

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\57E00BCCE43E2E35A8C63A011121B8A9\ProductName

A way to remove Webex using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Webex is a program offered by the software company Cisco Systems, Inc. Frequently, computer users try to erase this program. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Webex or simply activate the Search field and type in "Webex". If it is installed on your PC the Webex application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Webex in the list , the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Webex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Webex.


8. After uninstalling Webex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Webex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
