A way to uninstall WinHex from your computer

A way to erase WinHex with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinHex is a program released by RePack by Andreyonohov. Sometimes, people decide to erase this application. This can be troublesome because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to erase WinHex is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find WinHex or simply click the Search feature and type in "WinHex". If it exists on your system the WinHex application will be found automatically. When you select WinHex in the list , some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about WinHex, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for WinHex:

• The publisher is: http://www.x-ways.net/winhex/index-m.html
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinHex\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall WinHex.


8. After uninstalling WinHex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of WinHex that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling WinHex using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
